Stuart De San Nicolas will assume the role of Cluster General Manager for Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas, Avani+ Fares Resort, and NH Collection Maldives Havodda starting from December 23rd, 2023. With more than three decades of practical experience in the industry, Stuart has acquired a wealth of knowledge from his remarkable career that has spanned various regions including Europe, South America, the Caribbean, Africa, Asia, and the Pacific. His extensive background positions him well for this leadership role.
Stuart, who is originally from Spain, recently joined Minor Hotels after serving as the General Manager at Conrad Bora Bora Nui. During his time there, he played a key role in enhancing the resort’s luxury offerings. Stuart’s hospitality career started in 1993 at the Hyatt Regency group in France, and since then, he has gained valuable experience in different positions within the front office and food and beverage departments at hotels worldwide.
Stuart has served as the General Manager in various renowned hotels including Altapura in France, Dinarobin Beachcomber Golf Hotel & Spa in Mauritius, Marriott Islamabad, Pik Palace and Park Chalet in Azerbaijan, Hotel Paracas – a Luxury Collection Resort in Peru, The St. Regis Mauritius, and Le Meridien Bora Bora for over two decades.
Stuart’s seasoned leadership style has led to significant achievements in effectively leading and inspiring extensive teams, while unwaveringly prioritizing the delivery of exceptional guest experiences. He consistently exceeds guest expectations by maintaining a strong focus on excellence in the daily operations of the resorts he oversees.
