Friedlander held the position of senior vice president of research and economics at the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in Washington, DC.

Joshua P. Friedlander will assume the position of vice president of research at the U.S. Travel Association, as per the association’s announcement today. This appointment is expected to greatly enhance the association’s research and analysis capabilities. Joshua will officially join the organization on January 16th.

Geoff Freeman, the president and CEO of the U.S. Travel Association, stated that Josh will offer market insights essential for informing the understanding and decision-making of our industry and stakeholders. Freeman expressed excitement about Josh’s extensive research analysis background and how it will positively impact the industry. He looks forward to Josh joining the team and being introduced to the travel community.

Friedlander has been appointed to U.S. Travel from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in Washington, DC, where he held the position of senior vice president of research and economics. At RIAA, he was accountable for data analysis and market research, with his findings often being used as benchmark indicators for the U.S. music industry. Before joining RIAA, Friedlander gained experience in equity research at Prudential Securities.
