Vytautas Cekanavicius, who previously held the position of Head of Fueling at BGS Group, has been appointed as the new CEO, replacing Gytis Gumuliauskas starting from February 6. Cekanavicius has long-term experience in leading fueling companies within the BGS group. For the past four years, he has been responsible for the operations and results of 10 BGS fueling stations across five different countries.
Gytis Gumuliauskas, who has been leading BGS Group until now will continue his professional journey with Avia Solutions Group. He will be responsible for the expansion of the company’s footprint in Australia, where it has already taken its first steps, recently announcing the acquisition of the Australian airline Skytrans.
